A few months ago, I found someone who said they would try to scanslate some of my DQ8 doujinshi. He finished one yesterday!

Found a few incomplete vids that I will be taking off my computer soon. Since I doubt they will ever be completed, I might as well post them here in case someone is interested.

Dragon Quest Swords - Nemo (2MB)
I knew exactly how I was going to start this video, unfortunately I ran out of ideas after about 20 seconds.

Dragon Quest VIII - The Chain (10MB)
This was going to be a compare/contrast of the relationships between Angelo/Marcello and Alistair/Jessica. I got frustrated because it seemed the concept might always be cooler in my head than it ever would on the screen. But I still think the song describes the relationships in an oddly beautiful way.

Dragon Quest VIII - Streetrat (2.5MB)
I think I was just bored when I made this, I don't know (>_<)

Not that I have any interest in learning to play it, but it's still damn cool to look at!

Just got back from seeing the new Sherlock Holmes movie, lots of fun, it may just be the the slashiest slash that ever slashed. Also, happy to see they didn't make Watson a bumbling buffoon like some of the other movies.

I got my copy of Dissidia in the mail today.


Also, I may have convinced someone to do a scanslation of a Dragon Quest 8 doujinshi!

It's probably not a good thing that the audio is more appealing to me than the visuals, right?

I really want to make a vid set to "The Touch", from the Transformers movie. Dunno what fandom, but it would be awesome.

No evil drawings were produced last night, only kittens and cuteness. It's quite sketchy, but I don't think the paper can handle any more erasing so this is complete for the time being. Then Angelo came into sight, Rose on his shoulders...

Got a sketch pad and some pencils today at the art store. My art teacher would be so proud!(maybe not if she knew what I wanted to draw, oh well)

Last week I ordered two of these, I got the one from my icon and the "gag" one. Anyway, they got here this morning! I started scanning the shorter one and got to a stopping place a few pages in. I'm not sure what the title is, but the cover says "Charisma Brothers" so that's why I'm going to call it.

My answer:

A number of reasons:

1.) Cuz I'm mildly obsessed with all things Robin Hood, what girl isn't?
2.) Pretty boys with accents
3.) Action/swordfights.
4.) Since it airs on Saturday night it almost reminds me of my Hercules/Xena years, combined with the camp and "the hell???" factors make it fun, non-demanding entertainment.

I dislike April Fool's day but I do like celebrating Final Fantasy VII remake announcement day! Do you hear me Squeenix? make it happen next year!
